Low cloud and a big drop in temperature. As we had missed the Monarch butterflies on the way we decided to backtrack to Santario Piedra butterfly reserve.
We did the first 2km uphill on horseback and then climbed very steeply to where the butterflies were hanging in the fir trees. Unfortunately it was so cold and damp that very few were flying, but it was certainly a sight worth seeing. I think that most of the group went to see the pyramids.
P.S. Have you heard about the Irishman who thought Hertz Van Rental was a Dutchman?
