This site primarily lists through tarred public roads in Britain, but the following are given for interest:
	1176m	3680'		Beinn a'Bhuird	OS 1km sq 36/08 99	NO 085 992	GBR	Private estate track. GBR 1990 gives this as highest motorable road in UK, although it is not now marked as road on OS 1:50K. The OS 1:25K map on www.getamap.co.uk shows track ending at c1,080m contour - but this may still be the highest

	674m	2202'		Coldberry End	Ireshopeburn - Harwood	NY 826 357	OS-SH	Unsealed public white rd - on OS 1:50K, appears to go to 680m contour. Highest through public rd in England?
